| My piece for this exhibition has to be linked to Bulgarian culture threw my own eyes so i decided to do about one of the only things i know about. Its based on a pagan festival / folk lore called 'baba marta' which means Grandma March http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baba_Marta use this link if you want to know more about the festival and piece of work. The piece itself will actually be a tree stump filled with these red white bracelets and idea is about looking at the maternal qualities of the cultural event. |
